Study Objective

Our team is attempting to identify potential effective treatments for testicular pain.

The objective of the current study is to evaluate whether one of four, non-invasive treatment options improves symptoms among men who have chronic testicular pain.

To accomplish this objective, 40 men will be randomized into one of four treatment groups.
Study Details

Men wishing to participate will be randomly assigned to one of four different treatment groups.

Each group will receive a non-invasive, non-medication treatment. All treatments are currently available over the counter.

The treatment will be performed at home for 15 minutes twice daily for 1 month.

Survey questionnaires will be given at the beginning and at 2, 4, and 6 weeks after starting treatment.
Who May Participate

A total of 40 men will be enrolled.

Must have testicular pain in one or both testicles for at least 6 months before enrollment.
Finances and Remuneration
-
Participants will be given $150 in divided payments for successful study enrollment and completion ($25 for completing the baseline questionnaire, $100 for completing the 2-, and 4-week questionnaires, and $25 for completing the 6-week questionnaire).

All treatments will be provided at no charge and will be shipped to the study participant to be performed at home.
